Astro Rewards Program Terms and Conditions

These terms and conditions ("Terms") govern your participation in the Astro Rewards loyalty program ("Program") operated by Astro Fresh Jerky.

Program Overview

Astro Rewards is a free loyalty program that allows eligible members to earn points on qualifying purchases and redeem those points for discounts on future orders.

Eligibility

  • You must have an active Astro Fresh Jerky account.
  • You must be at least 18 years of age.
  • You must be a resident of the United States.
  • Only one rewards account is permitted per person.
  • Employees and affiliates of Astro Fresh Jerky may be excluded from participation at the company's discretion.

Enrollment

Enrollment in Astro Rewards is free and available through your account dashboard. By enrolling, you agree to these Terms.

Earning Points

Members earn 10 points per $1.00 spent on qualifying purchases. Points are calculated based on the product subtotal only (before tax and shipping). Points are credited to your account after the order has been fulfilled and payment has been confirmed.

Points are not earned on the following:

  • Shipping charges
  • Taxes
  • Gift card purchases
  • Returned or refunded orders (points will be deducted accordingly)
  • Fraudulent or canceled orders

Point Multipliers by Tier

  • Explorer (base tier): 1x multiplier (10 points per $1)
  • Voyager: 1.5x multiplier (15 points per $1)
  • Commander: 2x multiplier (20 points per $1)

Point Expiration

Points do not expire as long as your account remains active and in good standing.

Account Inactivity

If no qualifying purchase is made for 24 consecutive months, we may send you a notice regarding your account status. Thirty (30) days after the notice is sent, we reserve the right to consider the account inactive and forfeit any unredeemed points.

Tier Structure

The Astro Rewards program features three membership tiers based on cumulative lifetime points earned (not your available point balance):

  • Explorer: 0 or more lifetime points. This is the base tier; all members start here.
  • Voyager: 1,000 or more lifetime points. Unlocks the 1.5x earning multiplier.
  • Commander: 5,000 or more lifetime points. Unlocks the 2x earning multiplier.

Tiers are based on cumulative lifetime points earned and do not reset or downgrade.

Redemption

Points may be redeemed for discount codes at the following rates:

  • 500 points = $5 off
  • 1,000 points = $10 off
  • 2,500 points = $25 off
  • 5,000 points = $50 off (maximum single redemption)

Redemption generates a single-use discount code. The following conditions apply:

  • Only one discount code may be used per order.
  • Discount codes cannot be combined with other promotions unless otherwise stated.
  • Discount codes are valid for 90 days from the date of issuance.
  • Discount codes cannot be redeemed for cash, applied to gift card purchases, or transferred to another person.
  • If an order placed using a rewards discount code is returned, the discount is forfeited and points are not restored.
  • A minimum order value may apply. The discount code value cannot exceed the order total.

Program Modifications

We reserve the right to modify the program rules, point values, earning rates, redemption options, or tier thresholds at any time. We will provide at least 30 days advance notice of any material changes via email to enrolled members.

Program Termination

We may terminate the Astro Rewards program at any time with at least 90 days notice to enrolled members. During the notice period, members may redeem their available points. After the notice period has ended, any unredeemed points will be forfeited.

Account Suspension and Termination

We may suspend or terminate your rewards account for any of the following reasons:

  • Fraud or suspected fraud
  • Creating multiple accounts
  • Manipulation of points or abuse of the program
  • Violation of these Terms or the Astro Fresh Jerky Terms of Service

Points are forfeited upon termination for cause.

Fraud and Abuse

The following activities are prohibited:

  • Creating multiple accounts to earn additional points
  • Exploiting pricing errors, technical errors, or system vulnerabilities
  • Purchasing and returning items solely for the purpose of earning points
  • Sharing accounts with other individuals
  • Any other activity we determine, in our sole discretion, to be fraudulent or abusive

No Cash Value

Points and rewards have no cash value and are not your property. They represent a limited license to receive discounts on qualifying purchases at astrofreshjerky.com.

Non-Transferable

Points and rewards cannot be sold, transferred, or assigned to another person or account.

Limitation of Liability

Astro Fresh Jerky is not responsible for:

  • Technical errors affecting point calculations (we will correct such errors in good faith)
  • Unauthorized access to your account
  • Lost or expired discount codes

Our total liability under this program shall not exceed the dollar value of your available points at the time of the claim.

Tax Liability

You are solely responsible for any tax consequences arising from your participation in the Astro Rewards program.

CCPA Financial Incentive Notice

The Astro Rewards program is a "financial incentive" as defined under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA). By enrolling in the program, you provide us with personal information, including your purchase history, account activity, and email address, which we use to administer the program. In exchange, you receive the opportunity to earn and redeem points for discounts on future purchases.

The value of this financial incentive is reasonably related to the value of your data to us, which we estimate based on the expense of administering the program and the revenue generated from loyalty-driven purchases.

You may opt out of the program at any time by contacting us at info@astrofreshjerky.com without penalty. Opting out will result in the forfeiture of any unredeemed points.

Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of California.
