To verify your identity, we may ask you to provide information that matches the personal information we have on file, such as your name, email address, and order history. We will use this information solely for verification purposes.

Authorized Agent Requests

You may designate an authorized agent to submit a request on your behalf. To do so, the authorized agent must provide written proof of authorization signed by you, and we may still require you to verify your identity directly with us.

Response Timeframe

We will acknowledge receipt of your request within 10 business days. We will respond to your verifiable consumer request within 45 calendar days of receipt. If we require additional time, we will inform you of the reason and extension period in writing. We may extend the response period by an additional 45 calendar days when reasonably necessary. We do not charge a fee to process or respond to your request unless it is excessive, repetitive, or manifestly unfounded.

Annual Metrics

We are committed to publishing annual metrics regarding the number of requests received, complied with (in whole or in part), and denied, along with the median response time, as required by the CCPA/CPRA.

Financial Incentive Notice -- Astro Rewards Program

Our Astro Rewards loyalty program constitutes a "financial incentive" program under the CCPA/CPRA because it offers price or service differences (e.g., discounts, free products, exclusive offers) in exchange for the collection and retention of personal information.

Personal Information Collected: When you enroll in Astro Rewards, we collect and retain your name, email address, phone number, purchase history, points balance, and program activity data.
Value Proposition: In exchange for providing this personal information and engaging with our brand, you earn one (1) point for every $1.00 spent on qualifying purchases, redeemable as $10 off your order for every 100 points (up to a maximum of $40 off per order). You receive a financial benefit in the form of discounts, and we receive the benefit of your purchase data, engagement data, and continued patronage.
Good-Faith Value Estimate: We estimate in good faith that the value of the personal information collected through the Astro Rewards program is reasonably equal to the value of the discounts and rewards provided to program members. This estimate is based on the cost of administering the program, the average discount value redeemed per member, and the incremental revenue attributable to program engagement.
Opt-In and Opt-Out: Participation in Astro Rewards is entirely voluntary. You opt in by enrolling in the program through our Site. You may withdraw from the program at any time without penalty by contacting us at info@astrofreshjerky.com. Upon withdrawal, any unredeemed points will be forfeited, but you will not face any discrimination or reduction in service quality.

10. SMS/Text Message Marketing

By opting in to our SMS/text message marketing program, you consent to receive recurring promotional and transactional text messages from Astro Fresh Jerky at the phone number you provide. These messages may include information about new products, sales, promotions, order updates, and other marketing content.

Consent: By opting in, you agree to receive marketing text messages from us. Consent is not a condition of purchase. You are not required to opt in to SMS marketing to buy products from us.
Message Frequency: Message frequency varies based on promotions and your account activity.
Message and Data Rates: Message and data rates may apply depending on your mobile carrier and plan. We are not responsible for any charges incurred from your carrier.
Opt-Out: You may opt out of SMS marketing at any time by replying STOP to any message. After opting out, you will receive a one-time confirmation message and will no longer receive marketing texts from us. Transactional messages (e.g., order confirmations, shipping updates) may still be sent.

Supported Carriers: Major US carriers are supported. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

11. Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control

Some web browsers transmit "Do Not Track" (DNT) signals. Because there is no universally accepted standard for how to respond to DNT signals, our Site does not currently respond to DNT browser signals.

However, we do honor Global Privacy Control (GPC) signals as required by the California Privacy Rights Act (CPRA). When we detect a GPC signal from your browser, we will treat it as a valid opt-out request for the "sharing" of your personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising purposes.
